After serving 20 years in the United States Air Force, Rowdy Spears transitioned his career from protecting lives to helping build them financially. Throughout his military service and community involvement, Rowdy developed a deep commitment to guiding and supporting others—a passion he now channels into financial planning. Today, he works alongside individuals, families, and small business owners to create thoughtful, actionable plans for building and preserving generational wealth.
As a Financial Advisor with Generational Asset Planning, Rowdy offers a full suite of services including retirement planning, tax strategies, estate planning, investment management, and small business financial consulting. His approach centers on empathy and partnership—walking alongside clients as they navigate their financial journeys and celebrating progress together.
Rowdy’s commitment to service extends beyond his financial practice. He actively coaches youth and adult sports, including powerlifting, football, and rugby, and serves on the board of the Project Management Institute Rio Grande Chapter as the Director of Military Outreach. He also leads a local homeless outreach initiative, hosts the community-focused Veterans and Cigars event, and works with grassroots motorsports to promote safe, positive racing environments—giving car enthusiasts an outlet to compete off the streets and in controlled settings.
Rowdy holds an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice, a Bachelor’s in Sports and Health Sciences and professional certifications in Project Management (PMP) and Agile Practices (PMI-ACP). He brings the same dedication to ethics, accountability, and service to his financial planning work that shaped his military and academic journey.
